Change is inevitable. Seasons, landscapes, generations, angles. Existence is constantly in a state of flux melting from one manifestation into another, and it always seems effortless. Despite being able to pick out events in time that have altered the course of history, natural or man-made, looking at it in retrospect it always seems inevitable. This is not the 21st century by mistake, it is the product of hundreds of years of evolution of atoms, beings and minds. Viewing it in retrospect the collective existence of everything as it is today, even that which can be identified as negative, is a natural progression of everything that existed.
Mistakes are inevitable in the process of evolution. According to darwinian theory natural mistakes ARE evolution. During the process of DNA replication that our cells must undergo in order to maintain our growth and survival, mistakes are actively happening at an order of multiples per second. Cancer is happening to you even as you’re reading this sentence but when it is incompatible with life, your body actively prevents it. When cancer cells provide a survival advantage they are instead selected for by nature. Babies born with sickle cell disease die from suffocation at high altitudes, but flourish immune to malaria in Africa. Our bodies are in a constant flux of life and death and as long as we are breathing, life is winning. Life continues with effortless synchrony despite every mistake, as if each was a choice, making it all inevitable.
I am the same as my cells and their errors, my choices being mistakes only when they are incompatible. Life is actively choosing me even as I am writing this sentence. Even as you are reading it. Despite events in my time that have altered the course of my history it almost always seems inevitable. This is not who I am by mistake, it is the product of years of evolution of my cells, relationships and thoughts. Viewing it in retrospect the collective existence of my life as it is today, even that which can be identified as negative, is a natural progression of everything that existed. I understand that I am selectively being chosen and when I am not choosing back I am only suffering. My mistakes are reminders of what I am not. I am of love. I am of peace. I am of abundance, just like you. Change is as inevitable as the seasons so when it shines bask, and when it rains soak. And for as long as there is breath I will listen to the music of my creation, be the instrument I am meant to be and dance effortless in the life created for me. Amen.
